This is Task, a luxury task light designed around a new way of interactivity.

Elegant. Minimal. Timeless.

Task was designed around a change in how an individual interacts with a task light. Traditionally, users would move the arm of the light source to influence where the light would spread to. With Task, a user moves the light source itself, keeping the arm in a solid position.

Each POD connects magnetically to the underside of the arm using the QI 2 standard. This allows for each POD to align with a wireless charging coil in one of the seven individual charging zones.

A POD’s LED matrix can be customised with adaptive brightness and colour temperature controls. Simply rotate the crown on each POD to change the brightness or colour temperature. To switch between controls, the user can press in the crown.

Behind The Design.

Available in multiple colour combinations, Task uses a monochromatic dual-finish design. These materials include powder-coated steel, colour-matched silicone and anodised aluminium. These colours were selected to be timeless and convey a sense of luxury.

Designed for strength and stability, POD task uses a cantilever design, so the arm can stretch out as far as needed. The arm can rotate 180º around the base, to enhance the areas light can be served.

Each POD features an array of 8 dimmable LEDs. Four warm white and four cool white LED’s provide a spectrum of light temperatures.

Power is delivered to Task by the 2-meter braided cable - connecting to the base. If you wish for the light to be turned off, the capacitive touch button on the light base can be triggered to cut power to the arm.
