This is Vesta, a desk concept designed for creatives. The following is a creative concept, currently in development and is not the final design.

Minimal. Modern. Elegant.

Vesta is influenced by Braun and HAY design principles. It has a minimal appearance, whilst only providing the essentials of what desk should do. It has a large open space for creatives to work on, whilst providing cable slots for their hardware to be plugged into.

Under these cable slots, lies a storage channel for extension cables and a place to clean up wires. Cables can then be sent through one of the holes at either end of Vesta and travel down one of the back legs to discretely find a socket.

Behind The Design.

Available in a variety of colours, based off of HAY’s colour selection, Vesta can blend in or stand out, depending what your style is.

Designed to be made from sheets of powder coated steel, Vesta has a simple and elegant form. The front legs are angled out to provide stability, whilst the rear legs can be pushed against a wall.

The cable slots have filleted edges to stop sharp edges from damaging cables. With three slots, this allows creatives to add a screen and a pair of studio monitors either side, or customise the desk space for a variety of creative equipment across music, design and photography.

The cable channel was designed to hold large extension cables, whilst being hidden away. Creatives can still gain access the cables at the top and from the sides of the cable channel. The cable holes - located at each end - will be the the size of a UK three pin plug. Included with the desk, colour matched cable drops can be attached to the inside of each leg to guide cables down.
